SkyEye GIS/RS team set about creating a base control point to use for drone mapping which would allow the team to get millimetre level absolute accuracy for their drone mapping projects.
With the lockdown and limited shipping options. SkyEye was force to improvised and diy our own base mark cap, survey monopole and ground control marks/target.

Results:
Relative 2mm and absolute 8mm with corrections. We now also have a permanent base mark we can reuse for future drone survey work for the western part of Upolu
